River Rescue Certification Pro (RRC - Pro)
Taking river rescue training for boaters to a new level, the three-day River Rescue Certification for the Professional (RRC-Pro) is a fast paced, scenario based rescue course designed to develop the ability to choose good actions when a river rescue is necessary.This curriculum has been designed for individuals that spend a good portion of their lives on whitewater rivers in a professional capacity (specifically river guides and kayak instructors), or paddlers who already have a solid base of boating and basic rescue skills and are interested in working on the river in a professional capacity in the future. Students will receive internationally recognized certification through Sierra Rescue International.

Farmlands Rafting
The Farmlands section of the White Salmon River is arguably the most committing, exciting, and spectacular commercial rafting run in the Pacific Northwest. Ten miles upstream of the Forest Service put-in for the main section of the White Salmon River, the Farmlands section offers continuous class IV-V whitewater in a series of canyons defined by vertical cliff walls and horizon-line upon horizon-line of stairstepping rapids. Within the canyons, rafters will find scenery and whitewater adventure unrivaled by other commercial rafting trips as the White Salmon careens through rapids such as Sidewinder, The Drop Zone, Mini Lava, Lava Dam, and Off Ramp.

Beginner Refresher Kayak Instruction
This course is for students who have been introduced to basic skills of whitewater kayaking, typically through a 2 or 3-day beginner kayak course. You understand wet-exits, eddy turns, peel-outs, and ferries, but are still working on mastering them. This refresher course will give you the opportunity to refresh previously learned skills by joining the 2nd or 3rd day of a beginner kayak course.

ACA Instructor Course
The ACA Kayak Instructor Course - led by Sundance Kayak School's J.R. Weir - is for whitewater kayakers interested in working as professional kayak instructors or simply developing proficiency in kayak teaching techniques. This instructor training course leads to certification as a whitewater kayak instructor by the American Canoe Association, or the ACA. The ACA has created the nation's premier teaching certification program for kayaking. 2-Day Beginner Kayak Instruction
Based out of our riverside headquarters in the Columbia River Gorge, our 2-day "Rapid Progression" beginner kayak courses are designed to provide novice kayakers with the fundamental skills needed to begin kayaking on Class I and II whitewater. Progressing from the pool and slow moving water on day one, to class II whitewater on day two, we will practice basic boat handling, eddy-turns and peel-outs, ferrying, water reading, self-rescue techniques, and safe paddling techniques.

This course is designed specifically for people who work on or around rivers. DWR, Fish and Game personnel, Environmental Consultants, Fisheries Biologists and other professionals that work around streams and rivers will find this course perfect for their needs. Fire and SAR personnel should take the NFPA-compliant Swiftwater Rescue Technician (SRT-1).

Wind River Rafting
One of the most challenging commercial rafting runs in the Pacific Northwest, the Wind River cascades through tightly spaced boulder gardens and steep ledge drops in a series of class IV to class V rapids. Set in a deep canyon, spectacular waterfalls, towering cliffs, and strange clay walls create an unforgettable atmosphere for a spectacular trip. This all day trip includes a riverside lunch and is the perfect run for experienced paddlers seeking the next level of adventure. Guests on the Wind River should be prepared for challenging whitewater and adventurous rock-scrambling on the portages. All rafters on the trip are required to have previous class IV experience and be in good physical condition!
